Dr. Majeed is a native Washingtonian with a pulse for the community. A passion for advocating for underprivileged and underserved residents’ manifests in his expertise of program development to address issues surrounding economic growth, financial literacy and career preparation.

Dr. Majeed currently manages YAAY Me Inc. non-profit organization since 2009 as the Principal and COO - overseeing multiple programs focusing on youth and young adults and returning citizens such as hospitality programs, summer S.T.E.A.M. camps, environmentally safe landscaping programs, youth and adult reentry programs, GED preparation and in-school college and career workforce programs. In
addition, he also serves as COO and Co-Founder of Blueprint Development Consulting - overseeing multiple programs focusing on youth, adults and seniors; providing mental health skill building, non-profit management, small business development, curriculum development and implementation, and staff development.

As the Co-Owner of Majeed Family Holdings, a DC based Business Enterprise, he has interwoven his professional interest of training, employing and housing D.C. residents by providing life coaching, certification training and on-the-job training.

Experienced in developing and sustaining relationships with a myriad of private, public organizations and partners to include Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, Department of Juvenile Services, Department of Behavioral Health, Metropolitan Police Department, Clark Construction, Banneker Ventures, District of Columbia Housing Authority, National Association for the Advancement of Returning Citizens. As Advisory Neighborhood
Commissioner and member of the River Terrace community, Dr. Majeed received multiple recognitions and CJAN awards for his contributions to the District of Columbia and his successful approach to returning citizens.

Dr. Majeed has overseen various community projects and has taken his place as a community reformer. Majeed has successfully assisted an abundance of youth and families with integrating into career and personal development. Majeed continues to contribute to community reform and seek innovative ways to servicing under privileged and underserved residents.
